Manufacturing Processes
Jewelries at Rananjay Exports are crafted using different manufacturing processes adhering to all ethical & legal compliances. Our craftsmen have years of experience working with 92.5 sterling silver Jewellery hence all the pieces are manufactured with precision. The different processes involved are listed below.
Handcrafted Jewellery
We manufacture beautiful handcrafted pieces using metal sheeting and dies. The metal sheet is shaped into a die and then the shapes are soldered by hand to create Jewellery.
Another process is forcibly passing the silver through a hole so that it comes out as a wire or tube and then these are used to make rings, necklace etc.
Casting
The process begins when the master model of the piece is recreated. A mold injected with wax is made out of the master model and wax replica is created of the piece. The replica is put into a flask surrounded by plaster. The flask is put into an oven eventually wax is melted leaving a hollow void which is filled by the molten metal. After cooling it is polished & finished.
Stamping
The process is used in making light weight jewelleries. The silver sheets are stamped with dies & cut-out shapes are then assembled into a Jewellery.Pendants,Earrings and charms are made in this manner.
Electroforming
It is a complex & labor intensive process. Silver is electroplated in a shape which is usually made of wax. The shape is bathed & treated with a solution forming a thin-base metal layer. While finishing the wax melts leaving behind only a finished piece of silver.
Cold Enameling
Cold enamel is a resin which is painted on the metal. The Jewellery piece is hand painted and heated so that paint is glued to silver.
Oxidation
Silver is treated with a solution to give it a blackish color and then it is polished so that corrosive effect is visible at the edges. This is usually done to give an antique look to the Jewellery piece.
